Heritage Power offers a variety of plans to ensure our customers have options when it comes to choosing electricity service with us! Whether you need a plan for a year, or if you’re looking for a contract-free plan; we have you covered.
No, there is no fee to sign up with Heritage Power. Your local utility company may charge a fee if you are signing up service for the first time in your name, or expediting service with the priority move in option.
You may be eligible to have your deposit waived if you meet one of the following criteria below:
Victim of Family Violence
Texas Family Code §71.004. If you are a victim of Family Violence under the Public Utility Commission of Texas click here.
Low Income Customer

Senior Citizens over the age of 65 may qualify to get a deposit waived.

Credit balances due to overpayments will be refunded within ten (10) business days of the customer’s request. If customer is no longer receiving electricity services from Heritage Power, credit balances due to overpayments will be refunded within sixty (60) days of the customer’s final bill. Unless a refund is requested, credit balances will remain on the account to apply to future bills. With the exception of payments made by cash, refunds will be issued in the same method of payment as the original payment (i.e., if a payment was made with a credit card, the refund will be issued to the same credit card account). If the original payment was made with cash, the refund will be issued by check.
I confirm that I am authorized to initiate transfers from the designated account and I authorize such transactions from that account each month. I also understand that the amount of the payments may vary each month and that the monthly statement will be the only notice of the AutoPay amount to be deducted. If you wish to cancel Autopay, please call us anytime at the number on your statement.
